DC Surge Protectors
Coordinated DC Surge Protectors (7)
ATVOLT SPDs have got plenty of uses for this kind of equipment thanks to the flexibility of their design and connectors. Each SPD protects a pair of wires. Several protection stages are internally coordinated. ATVOLT Series contains a wide range of voltages. They are mainly used for DC supply lines of tens of volts. They are installed in series with the line and they are able to withstand continuously currents ranging up to several amperes without significant line losses or consumption.
AT3W DC Surge Protectors (4)
ATVOLT P SPDs allows the protection of the same equipments as ATVOLT series but since these are installed in parallel, they have the characteristic of having no limitation for current consumption. Each SPD protects a pair of wires. Several protection stages are internally coordinated. ATVOLT P Series contains a wide range of voltages. They are mainly used for DC supply lines of tens of volts.
CITEL DC Power Surge Protectors (9)
CITEL DS2x0-xxDC DC surge protector series
is designed to protect equipment connected to a DC power supply (or AC) against lightning surges. These devices are based on high energy varistors (MOV) matched with the DC operating voltage (from 12 to 350 Vdc). The MOV are equipped with internal thermal disconnectors in order to provide safe end of life.
Surge Protectors for Photovoltaic System (9)
Most photovoltaic module manufacturers guarantee their materials for 20 years or more. The ROI of photovoltaic generation facilities connected to the low voltage network is therefore calculated over this long period of time. But these systems are often highly exposed to lightning and power surges, which can greatly reduce the required operating time. Implementation of appropriate protection solutions is strongly recommended...
Along with using of AC power supply, DC power supply is what most people have in common devices that contains a small capacity, low voltage. Nominal voltage: 6Vdc , 12 Vdc, 24 Vdc, 48 Vdc … or even a hundred voltage as application for polar energy.
