Để đảm bảo sự hoạt động của các thiết bị thu phát sóng điện từ đúng công suất, tần số cũng như phát hiện các nguồn phát xạ sóng, mức độ ảnh hưởng và đảm bảo an toàn thì cần có các thiết bị đo và kiểm tra đặc biệt về sóng điện từ trường.
